On May 28, 2020, Aran Organization announced the reactivation of its three voluntary groups in Chamchamal, Koya, and Halabja to prepare for the new phase of its project activities.
Supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), this initiative is part of Aran’s ongoing efforts to promote good governance and establish democratic principles in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Background
Since 2014, Aran Organization has collaborated with NED to implement six democracy-focused projects, with the current project continuing this impactful partnership. These initiatives have focused on fostering democratic practices and enhancing community participation across various regions.
